I lived there for a year in a 2bdrm-2 bath lower apartment. The security guy was just some unarmed man occasionally driving about in his golf cart, rarely saw him. My bike was stolen, even though it was chained to the first floor balcony area. Didn't see scorpions or police chases or other things I read here, but the people directly above us were the worst. Loud pounding, noises, banging on the walls and constant people coming and going 24-hours a day. The people on the second floor surrounding the apartment were afraid to complain because everybody thought it was a meth house, not making it but selling it and/or hanging out there. When they moved out a month before me, I poked my head in there while the workmen where cleaning up, the apartment was totally destroyed, huge holes in the walls, carpeting ripped up and streaked with who-knows-what, cupboards ripped off, doors smashed, etc.
The grounds are clean though, the pools clean (hot tubs semi clean), small but decent exercise gym when it is open, parking good, and if they would only get el security, clean out the apparent scorpion problem they deny, and police against tenents like I just described, then it would be a decent place.

Did I mention that the Security in none existant? The GATES at the front are always broken so anyone can and does drive in anytime of the day or night. The gates off Pecos are rarely working properly. Security........ come on in. I've had a bicycle....no, two, bicycles stolen in the last two years.
