I lived at the Fountains at Smoke Ranch for a year and a half. It was just an ok place to live. The apartment lay out was good and comfortable. I did think that the grounds could have been better kept. I also had a few situations where I found the staff to be rude. There were a couple of people that worked in the office that I did enjoy doing business with. These two particular people went out of there way to make me comfortable. I did not always feel safe. A lot of the residents were on the scruffy side. There were lots of kids as well. You can look at the two different ways. If you have kids...great! Your kids will enjoy living there because there are other children for them to socialize with, however, if you are single I would not recommend the Fountains. The kids can be a pain and VERY loud. I also found some to be a bit mischavous around the complex. Lastly, there were a couple of siutations where police were called (not by me).
