The models were VERY deceiving (obviously). When we arrived at our actual apartment there were flies on the floor and a broken window, lining stuck in odd places in the kitchen. It was quite ganky. As we stayed there there were several cockroaches, the dishwasher kept flooding and closet doors kept breaking. everything kept breaking!
Maintainence was good about coming by and fixing these things (usually). The models you expect to be much nicer..but honestly it was night and day.

It is disgusting, old, everything kept breaking down. It took an average of three weeks for maintenance to come by to fix things like a refrigerator or a dishwasher. There are cockroaches. Pipes were bursting leaving flooding water. There was always something not working right. Residents throughout the complex are always drunk and screaming obscenities 24/7. The time I had lived there someone had been held up at knifepoint in the parking lot and there was a shooting in the complex. Thin walls, can hear EVERYTHING in the adjacent apartments.
