I moved to Vegas from Texas in 99, before my move I called to the Harbor Island to get information.I let them know I was going down there for a job transfer and that I needed a place until I can find a real apartment. Also I let them know I was a single female. Working in the hotel business I had already known this is more of a extended stay hotel instead of an apartment complex. When I got there a gentleman helped me he had my apartment/room all ready for me. There are some negatives yes staying there. But he made sure I was up front right when you pull in and on the 3rd flr, he even helped me carry some of my belongings up.The only positive is that he cared for my safety, pools were nice and laundry center also.Neg. My A/C went out in mid July HOTTTT I had to lie and tell them I had a child for them to come fix it. They said they did not do A/c repairs in the middle of the night so I had to use my friends kid and say I had a child in there and they came to fix it.If you lived up front you were alright but don't live in the back after the pool OH no Pimps and prostitutes. Also I got sick and had to come back to TX I paid my rent up for the month but for some reason they forgot I guess I moved out, so the next month they charged me a week of rent that I never knew about until they put in on my credit. So I owe them some money but when I tried to call them and get this amount settled nobody knew what I was talking about. If you need a quick place to stay until you can shop around Vegas I would suggest staying here but not for long, and make sure u let them know you have moved.
