I checked out the apartment complex, it looked pretty nice. Families seemed to be the majority. The aparment looked spacious enough and the location was good. So I applied and gave 50 for app fee(which seems a little high) and 100 deposit. This was thurs. On friday, they call me and tell me im approved, so i tell them i will move in sometime this weekend. So around sunday, i arrive at the office and ask to see the place once more before i sign the lease, thank god i did!

Walk in the kitchen, dead roaches everywhere. Walk into the living room, same problem. Walk into the master bedroom and run into a spiderweb. Their answer to it: at least they are dead, and we live in the desert, you have to expect that. I then ask for my deposit back, but they refuse, since i signed the app which states only 24 hours was avail for return of the deposit. But it was only 48 since i got approved, not a week or anything... Guess it was my fault not reading the 24 hour part, but common, do they really expect someone to move into a roach motel'

This place is overpriced, roach infested.... and they dont deny it... pass this place up! They will take your money and run!

I have the same problem. On move-in day, I found dead roaches in the fridge. When I confronted the management about it, they told me "well, at least their dead". On top of that, the maintenance laughed when I told them I was also getting live roaches crawling in the fridge, telling me that cannot happen. They replaced the fridge, and the problem with the roaches in it ceased. However, I still am experiencing a roach problem. Also, the ceilings are awful. I can hear the neighbors upstairs walking and it literally sounds as if the ceiling is coming apart. You can hear wood cracking when they walk. I really wish there was a place tenants can report these apartments. I'm furious over the treatment management gives me in regards to this problem (especially regarding the neighbors and ceiling).
