Poor Management

The previous management company, Stout, failed to enter any of my deposits into their computer system. When the current management company, Prime, took over, they refused to refund my $200 refundable deposit, despite my photocopy of the check (initialed upon receipt by Stout), and despite the fact that the deposit was itemized on my lease. Prime's on-property manager referred me to their corporate lawyer, Resident Services (a division of Karsaz & Associates). The "Resident Services Representative" wrote to ask for my supporting documentation, and that was the last I heard, despite several letters I wrote requesting an update into his investigation. A far as Prime's on-property management is concerned, they do a poor job of apartment and property upkeep, failing to clean air ducts or improve attic insulation (or lack thereof) for top-floor apartments. But they continue to raise rents as often and as high as possible.
