My husband and I have lived at Indian Hills for 3.5 years. If we could move we would but due to disability its difficult. We live right beside the east pool which is the only pool that is heated in the winter, and has been for the last 3 winter months. In the last 6 months the complex has removed ALL the grass and replaced it with painted cheap pink rocks which drove our AC bill higher during the summer because it locked the heat in.
Our pool/hot tub was closed for a good majority of the summer and was FILTHY during the long weekend holidays. My husband rang the office and they insisted the pool was cleaned every day but since we live right beside the pool we know that it is rarely cleaned. We even brought a manager over to the pool to show him it was a mess yet still NOTHING was done.
The pools use to be 24 hr access but they are saying that due to noise and vandalism that they are locking the pools at 10pm. We rarely heard anyone in the pools at night and the gereatric security guard that "guards" the whole complex does nothing but sit in the pool house. No need to lock us out if the man is stationed there.
It is now DEC and its cold but both my husband and I desperately need to use the jacuzzi and it is FILTHY. Once again he has been phoning the office and they insist its clean. We even called the corporateand we were pretty much dismissed.
This company, Olen Properties, and Indian Hills, does not care about their tentants or the complex. They raise the rent and take away our immenities and services.
As soon as we can we are out of here!
I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM MOVING INTO INDIAN HILLS
