When we moved in to these apartments we were told they had dyed the carpet, green. It turns out this covered all kinds of stains, so rather than cleaning it, they just dyed it. We found about 5000 plastic toothpicks in one of the cupboards, along with pots and pans. This tells me they didn't clean it. They took out the baseboards and painted. There's paint on the woodwork, on the green carpet, and they even painted the peephole in the door so we can't see who is there when someone knocks. Shortly after we moved in the changed the way we pay the water bill causing our bill to go up quite a bit. Just recently they set it up so if you want to pay your rent in the office it costs you an additional $5.00. They recently painted the buildings. Half of the buildings are a dark mud brown, the other half a dark gray. But the topper to this is they painted the apartment doors and metal trim BLACK. Now this might be OK for the owners who live in Chicago, where it gets cold, but here in Las Vegas this will raise our electric rates. I am moving out soon, and I am contacting the local news media about all of the problems here before I go. DO NOT move in here. You will be sorry.
