Good place to live if you're cheap and don't care.

The big selling point of this place is that's incredibly easy to move into. Case in point: I was able to hold my apartment with an out of state personal check for the application fee. They don't check your credit, or call your landlord apparently. And you do get a lot of space for cheaper than what's in the vicinity....but you get what you pay for.
The "security" gate has worked properly all of 3 days in the 10 months that I lived there. The pool was shut down by the health department (all 3 of them). My front door wouldn't shut properly, and I was nearly trapped in a bedroom once due to a sticking door. Management is incompetent at best and completely unprofessional at worst (going as far as to falsify legal notices on delinquent rent). The manager is downright mean, and the remaining staff doesn't seem to know what they're doing (none of them including the manager being there from when I'd moved in).
There is also no courtesy patrol to speak of, and noise complaints fall on deaf ears. So if you need a cheap and easy place and a halfway decent place to live I suppose you'll be okay here. But I would highly recommend spending the extra $$$ if you can afford it to live at other complexes in the area.
Also keep in mind that insulation is poor. My power bill was literally insane (higher than my friends in 4 bedroom houses).
