Wow, talk about a flashback... I lived in La Mesa Apartments back in February of 1991, after quitting my job in New Hampshire and driving to Las Vegas.
I remember sharing a one-bedroom, furnished, all inclusive apartment with a former co-worker at the time. I was so enthusiastic about the 80 degree weather in February and that I could swim in a pool outdoors when it was snowing where I had come from.
What I remember was most likely the former management, and older woman who was totally nice to my friend and I, and I remember the place was clean and quiet, although I would say nothing special...
