The first weekend we moved in, we witnessed our building being raided by federal marshalls.
Three weeks after moving in, my first car was stolen. We got the insurance money and bought another car, three weeks after that, that car was stolen. After being dropped by my other insurance company and finally getting a new car, at 5 am we look out our bedroom window to see a group of teenagers in my car trying to steal it again. We chased them off with their own baseball bat. The little bit of security we do see is always around the pool snaping pictures of people in the pool and chirping people in his uniform that was three sizes too big. We even saw the supervisor ask him to tuck in his shirt and he said he couldn't do it.
There have been incidents of doors being kicked in. There are times when the floor of our apartment would shake from the loud music. Often our parking space is taken. We have had our tires stabbed, stones thrown at our windows, many welcome mats stolen, dumpster divers, just to name a few. The last few nights we have patroled the lot and did not see security anywhere to be seen... until we went to the pool of course. We notice that when the corporate housing is full, our cars and apartments are going to get hit hard.
There was one time we asked for our shower fixed. Two weeks later, we had to go and request the part and replace it ourselves. Please do not live here if you have anything you work hard for. With the walk in gates not working and anyone being able to gain access to the lot if they are patient enough to wait for a "kind person" to let them in, to do whatever it is they chose to do.
Please take this warning to heart.

I lived there in 2001 and had the same experience. The gates never worked. The office staff were all b**** and our next door neighbor's door was kicked in on Easter morning (thank God they were not home). This apartment complex is right in the heart of one of the worst neighborhoods in N. Las Vegas. GHETTO!!
