The new management at Loma Vista in Las Vegas STINKS!!!! I went there to rent an apartment and was delayed, lied too, and to this day have not gotten my money back and its been over two weeks. First I talked to ----- (the Corporate Manager for AMC, LLC/ New Owner) and he told me they had a units ready to move into and that I only needed $335.00 to move in because the first month was free (Mind you we are talking the 13th of July). When I got there the management said they wouldn't have a unit ready till the following week. So I delayed my move, did there paperwork and paid them to "hold" the apartment. ------ (the rep I was working with) told me he would process the paperwork and he would call me the next day... I did not hear from him. I called him 3 times during that week and he told me everything was ok.... When I got there the following week, car loaded and ready to pick up the key I discovered they had not even processed the paperwork. They made me wait while they did there verifications and then told me I would need an extra months rent of $895.00 because I didn't have a "corporate rental history". even though I had been renting a house for the last 2 years from a private owner. I also found out that I was going to be charged an extra $40 a month for water sewer and garbage fees.... Isn't that supposed to be covered in the rent' Needless to say I told them the way they did business was unacceptable and I asked for my money back. They then told me they had already cashed the money orders in and it could take up to 2 weeks, ------- the head manager said he would contact the corporate office and I would be able to pick up the check the following week. When I called the next week he then said it could be up to 30 days before I got my money back. If this is how AMC, LLC Property Management does business I DO NOT recommend doing business at ANY of their properties. You can find the list on their website at: amcllc. net
