RESORT STYLE LIVING' HA! FOR ROACHES!!!!!
I am nearing the end of my lease; which is sad for my little girl and I wanted this to be home. I did everything I could to stay. "Resort style" living seemed worth it for me and my 2 year old daughter, especially with our church right next door. We have friends there and they became family.

I started noticing cockroaches everywhere inside my apartment and had to have repeated sprays, to no avail. Right off the bat management told me..."Get used to it..you are in the desert! NEVER NEVER NEVER! Will that be acceptablle!!! IMy apartment was literally INFESTED!!!!!They were everywhere, high and low. I began doing the spraying myself on top of the Monday sprays and wound up in the Summerlin Hospital with Toxic Poisoning (painful 4-5 days excrutiating) I am sure it was MY spraying that caused it and not THEIRS :)

THE FIRST MAJOR ROACH INCIDENT!!!!!
In August 2005 I saw my daughter in the hallway sitting on the floor with what I thought to be a piece of hair sticking out of her mouth. As I tried to remove it< I realized it was not hair, but an ANTENNAE connected to the body of a live cockroach in her mouth wiggling around. I was horrified. In attempt to pull the AntennaeSeh fought me and I wound up pulling the roach out in two pieces no longer alive.

That spray had not been killing the bugs, only slowing them down enough for my daughter to trap them.

2nd ROACH INCIDENT!!!! On July 4th 2006 (I do have photographs) of an infestation of up to 40 roaches at a time in my living room alone). The maintenance man, came over after I called crying asking for some help in getting these hideous cockroaches out (every size and every color--these ar NOT water bugs!). Instead of removing the roaches, he minimized my plight by joking around allowing the roaches to crawl on his arms in front of me and laughing then left them there instead of killing them. I never slept that night, and the next day when I finally went to tell the office what had happened; the only solution they had was more bug spray, after I explained everything that had happened with me with the hospitalization and that the chemicals were now just too much.

Watch out for the law firm "Karsaz and Associates" (Read the letterhead) there is no physical address. Make sure you run the names through the state bar association(S) if they are claiming to be attoneys. Make sure the letter is signed and see who the person is that signs it. If they tell you to call "Resident Services" to see if your c"claim is valid" Do nto trust them. They are tricking you there too. They represent OVATION ONLY!!!! NOT YOU!!!!!

To the Anonymous poster on 03/31/2008. This was posted in Oct 2006 and you're posting is from March 2008, almost 2 years after her posting. Have you lived in the apartment complex for over 2 years? Come on now, tell the truth, you're apart of the apartment staff trying to discredit this person, right?

the lady with the roach story is telling the truth! I live in madera and I know first hand about their roach problem.

10. The rent high-not worth the money 9. roaches 8.dirty pools/broken glass 7.appliances break down over and over again 6. Air-conditioning weak and breaks-down often 5.will keep any deposit you give them with excuses. 4.the office likes to play games(drama) 3.takes around 5 minutes of running water to get hot water from sink faucet(big water waste) 2.the model you look at is the only good apartment(bait and switch) AND the number one reason 1.English is not understood by the office staff. If you think I am telling lies? go find out the hard way.
