Mark 1 Apartments

Moved here in April 2006. At that time all utilities were paid, now they have installed meters and are going to start charging for electricity. Place is already overpriced, halls need painting, hall carpets are filthy. Poor lighting in halls, elevators and parking garage. One elevator only works half the time. Pool was closed for repairs until the middle of July. Place is not worth half of what they charge, don't move here!

Wow, how time flies by. I moved into the MARK I TOWERS (Apt. #702) on July 2, 1976. More than 31 years ago now, wow!!! The building was brand spanking new then and one of the best addresses in Las Vegas at that time. In fact, only Regency Towers in the LVCC was more prestigious than the Mark I. My rent was $260 a month for the studio apt., and everything was shiny and wonderful. You could park in the garage or on the deck, and there was a restaurant downstairs. The AC frooze you, and you could close the blind and make cool night during a hot summer day. So sorry to read about the apparent downhill spiral that has befallen this building in which I have such wonderful memories in the mid-1970s. Those were the days, hmmm!? :~))
