i lived there for almost 3 years and it was the worst expierence of my life. THey never fixed anything. I lived on the bottom floor and the top apartment BATHROOM leaked in to my closet and filled my closet celing with toilet water, i promptly went to "BRANDON" and it took them 6 hours to get a maintence man to my apartment. At the time i was 5 months pregnant. THey finally came out and popped the bubble filled with the digusting water and set a bucket under it and let the water drain out of it. THey then said everything was ok. I had to call them back out to my apartment because the smell from the closet was spreading through out my apartment. they came out and cut a square of the celing out to let it dry out for a few days, I called them a week later to see what the next step was and the ever so politely told me that it was just going to stay that way until i moved out.... 2 months later untill i signed a new lease for a new apartment. I changed apartments and everything seemed to be the same... when i finally moved out of the complex my husband hit the covered parking with our uhaul and after paying cash to fix it they have given me hell. THEY ARE NOW SUEING ME FOR DAMAGES TO THE APARTMENT. TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE.. I WOULD NEVER REFER MY WORST ENEMY TO LIVE THERE.

Please wait for the bill from Sally the CEO which will runs into 1000s and additional amounts incurred by them for removing the "smell" from the apartment!!!

It is interesting that these postings are mostly "anonymous". It would lead any logical thinking person to infer that perhaps the people writing the reviews were not the best residents in the first place. When an apartment is left filthy and damaged, residents are charged fees for the cost to repair/replace what they damaged themselves. Then they want to complain because they find the fees high. The fees would never have been assessed if issues resulting from unclean and damaged apartments did not occur. So for those of you who like to post "anonymously", it's quite doubtful that anyone takes it to heart when you don't even have the nerve to say who you actually are. It's very easy to blame someone else for your own issues when you do it anonymously.

It is a shame that the people that are so called property managers are allowed to have a job. I have consulted an attorney for what happened to me while being a resident at Mayan Plaza. But first I'm contacting the investors who should know what's going on from a very resent tenant. They need to know that people will continue moving out, and further action is in the works.

As you see my review is not Anonymous, Brandon or Sally or Cheryl, whichever one of you is posting "anonymously" here. Why don't you use your real name if you are preaching against the unhappy tenants posting anonymously?

whether they are anonymously posting or putting their real names everything they are putting is correct because it all has happened to me and i've never missed or been late on a payment in almost four years. This place sucks and everyone should know and if i could get the investors information i would talk to him/her about the condition and my experiences at this crappy place. The management staff is extremely rude and unprofessional.
