Bugs that will not go away. An average of 4-5 floods per year, coming from the apartment above. I don't know who did the plumbing in this place but they need to go back to HVAC school.
And if that weren't enough, the managers have the nastiest attitudes I've ever seen in my life. The only reason I stay here is because it's close to my work and if I move, I have no one to help me and it's expensive to hire people. They are currently refusing to change out the light fixture in my kitchen, which has burned out. I cannot see in the kitchen and we are having to get take out food. However, they got angry when a guy came to caulk the tubs and I sent him away because he did not have the replacement light fixture. They are threatening to charge me $75 because I did not allow him to caulk the tub. They will get that $75 from my cold dead hand. It takes all of two minutes to change that light bar. THEN they could caulk to their heart's content. I told them in a typed letter that I have easily spent $75 on take out food because I can't see in the kitchen. One friend of mine who moved here needed her kitchen range repaired and they were dragging their feet on that issue. She finally said she would not give them the rent money until it was taken care of. Finally she just moved out. She could not afford to live on take out either.

This is the major problem with mayan plaza as they drive away the tenents at a faster rate than they can attract some. The management is out of touch with reality that the rent paid in apartment the tenents can go for their own house in las vegas now. Strengely the investment company who owns this property least bothered about the happenings. Advise to future tenants avoid.......
