I've lived in mayan plaza for three years straight in three different apts, left for a year and moved back for another years in my forth apt. I have never missed or been late on a payment so my opinion has nothing to do with being kicked out and wanting to get back at this company. But i will never say anything positive about mayan plaza. I've had floods in every apt i was in, there are alot of bugs. All the appliances are old and break alot. My dishwasher has been broken this entire year and floods almost evertime i use it but the staff states its the "hard water" that causes it to flood and all we can do is put CRL in it. I've lived in las vegas for many years and my dishwasher only floods at mayan plaza. They screw in the screens on EVERY window on the property and by doing so screwed shut two windows in my apt, AND when i tried to open the window and it was stuck and cracked, I GOT the bill to replace the window. Safe to say the very next day I called the city fire inspector about the fire hazard of screwing windows shut and screens on the windows. By the end of the next week every residant at mayan plaza had new screens. YOUR WELCOME!! :) In the apt i'm in now i had a flood in the second bedroom and they had mold formed on the baseboards and to fix it they sent the maintenance person spray paint it white so you can't see the mold spores anymore and pretend its a mold killing spray but when he set it down i looked at it and it was white spray paint. I could go on and on at the ways they try to cut corners at this joint but i think everyone gets the jist of my story. For what they charge, go to summerlin and get a nice apt or buy a house!

OHHH and good luck on getting some or any of your security deposit back. Like i said at the begining of this blog, i moved to 3 different apts while living here the first time and cleaned each the EXACT same way and never got charged any fee for cleaning but after i advised i wasn't signing a new lease they charged me 180.00 to "clean" my apt. The only difference between how i left that apt and any of the previous two apts is that mayan plaza wasn't getting a rent check the next month.
