As a 'snowbird' I return to Las Vegas from Europe every six months to winter in Las Vegas for just under the last ten years. Previously I rented at another first class ConAm property at The Meridian, near The Strip at East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane. When The Meridian went 'condo,' I moved in next door at Desert Club, on Koval lane. Harrah's took over Desert Club, and I then moved in to Noble Park. This is a great little property, a gem in a quiet, pleasant and upper middle class area of West Desert Inn, barely ten minutes from The Strip by car. (It is, incidentally, close to two regular, half-hourly bus stops, one right outside the property on West Desert Inn, the other a block away on Spring Mountain Road.) The apartments are well designed, are relatively new, and the fact that they come in two-level buildings of four apartments on each level, makes them especially noise free. They have a 'club house' (rather than poky little office) where you can deal with the staff comfortably; they also offer a concierge service which includes basic office services such as email, faxing, copying documents as well as DVD rentals etc. The present staff are really good, especially the main manager, Daniella Rios, with whom I had previously dealt at The Meridian. She is totally pleasant and professional and a another major reason why I opted to move in here, after I had researched and seen about a dozen rental properties in The Strip area. (Because of its proximity to The Strip, even though not at a walking distance, I regard Noble Park as being as close to The Strip as is practical these days. So if you either want to play or work along The Strip this is definitely a good place to be, believe me--because I have seen practically all there is that would qualify as a potential rental ion the area. Also in passing, the other properties, by comparison, are definitely not in Noble Park's class. Either they are much older, jerry-built, are obviously noisy, seem to be potentially unsafe, and offer undesirable things like communal laundry facilities or possibly problem tenants. So I can tell you, from a personal look around in the general vicinity, that this is a superior place to most in this area. When I moved in I had a couple of small issues such as a stiff lock and a leak in the kitchen sink tap, and a little hiccup in the air conditioning. All of this was attended to on the days reported. The maintenance crew is run by Gino who I happen to notice has been the ConAm's employee of the month on several occasions. ConAm is not a small organization. What clinches it for me personally is Ms Rios herself, who I have no doubt has also hand-picked her staff. If you can pay the rent promptly and behave reasonably by abiding by the ordinary simple rules of civil tenancy, you'll have only good things here. I personally intend to return again next year and I hope this recommendation will not ruin my chances of getting back.
PS: I returned to Nobel Park in November 2007 to find that Ms Rios had been transferred to another ConAm property. In her place as manager I found Cindy Wireman with whom I had already dealt, in part, to re-rent and to re-establish my stay at Noble Park. I find her pleasant, efficient and completely professional in all her dealings. Again, provided your own behavior is proper and straightforward, you in turn can look forward to dealing with Cindy at any level--and you need have no fear whatever at Ms Rios' departure. Noble Park remains in excellent hands. She has established a second computer for use by residents--another smart and welcome move.
