Pretty good place From: lurkerjane@gmail.com Date posted: 1/20/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   Look, I'll be honest if you looking for heaven on earth or Mount Olympus, you might want to set your sights a touch lower. No place will be perfect. But with all the terrible apartments in Vegas, this is perhaps near the top tier of good places to live. If you live Vegas you must accept that there are insects, it's inevitable. In the 7 months I've lived here I had at most 3 roaches- and only in the first month. A litle insecticide goes a long way. The only real problem was crickets. Let me give you advice: the same insecticide will not work. But those can be taken care of to. The staff is actually nice, which a change from all other places I've lived. No, they didn't shower me kisses and hand me an over sized check, but they are easy to talk to and nice. It was relatively quiet here. When living here they were very few kids and I don't here a peep from my neighbors. It's not problem. The grounds here are nice. Not spectacular but far far better than you will find anywhere else I know of. I enjoyed walking around the trails and I even have a view of a small fountain from my window. It's safe. I've never seen the cops here, never heard of any murders or anything. I even looked in the newspaper and while there have been small distrubances blocks away there was never anything wrong here. One complaint: The maintenance. Now I'm sure if was just the guy I had. The first guy who came fixed my refrigerator. The second guy who came to fix my microwave said he was going to get a part for my microwave but never came back. And never came at all each time I requested it. Finally, I got the other guy back again and they installed a new microwave. So YMMV. The price is a little steep but... you really get what you pay for. Overall I highly recommend this place. Over any other place in Vegas.
