What a joke these apartments are the staff could not be more indolent or pathetic. I think that there were 3 or 4 managers in the year and a half that I lived there. It seemed that the office staff was always on break, at lunch, or out of the office when I needed something fixed in my apartment. it seemed that the job of the people who worked in the office was just to piss the residents off when they needeed something. they managment refused to do something about the entry gate that remained open for 6 months allowing anybody to wander in off of the street, I was assaluted in the gym by 6 hoodlums ( and at 6"4 230Lbs I am a big guy) the upper managment of the comunity (District managers) told me if I wasn't happy to move it would only cost me three months rent to break my lease. I should have moved after my first 6 months lease was up instead of signing for another year. if you are considering moving in to Oasis meadows apartments I advise you to run as far away from Oasis apartments and their parent company Camden. This place should be burned to the ground and salt sewn into the earth so that nothing will ever grow there again.

Amen, buddy. I, too, have lived the Oasis nightmare. Hope your getting out as fast as you can...and thanks for the review, as it is the only way to spread the word (not that anything short of a mass exodus from that complex will alert the corporate goons to the problems that exist there).

These apartments just suck maybe that is their racket at these apartments get people to move out in the middle of their lease so that they have to pay all the fees and penaltys associated with moving out. I lived at Oasis Meadows from 2003-2006 way too long. It really turned bad the last year I lived there. it sounds like alot of other people have had some of the same problems as me my front door was kicked down and my house robbed in the middle of the day. the last draw for me was when security towed my car that was parked in my space because my car had no licence plates because they were stolen off the car, the required renters insurance was a joke, and they could not keep track of anything I had to come down about 25 times to sign a new lease the same one over and over. the maintenance staff was always courtous and professinal and showed up quickly when I could finaly get the office staff to take a work order.
