From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/7/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 response You have got to be kidding me after one year of living at Oasis Meadows they deceided to up my rent $100.00 a month. what kind of fantasy world do these people live in' I talk to my neighbors I know what kind of rent they pay and it seems that everybody pays a diffrent amount for the same 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. When I ask for an explanation they girl in the office can't even make a coherant sentence about the discrepiencies. The best I can assume is that they a using a yeild managment system as if they are a ------- Hotel. My monthly rent is decided on how long I am willing to let them ---- me in the ass. I was also sick of my water bill going up while they watered the dirt, and sidewalks at night. moving ito Oasis meadows proved to be nothing short of a nightmare. It seems that they made up new fees almost every month, and when I came to move in I brought my money orders and a moving truck, they decide that they a re going to gouge me even further than what they thought by forcing me to pay another months rent when I moved in because I moved in on the 20th of the month. This place just sucks!! stay Away from Oasis Meadows Stay Away from Carol, From Grace, and From Jessica in the office the latter is helpless and the first 2 are just plain lazy. the pool at Oasis meadow is the dirtiest thing I have ever seen, and Is used more by the kids of the apartment complex next door than anybody who lived at Oasis Meadows. someone tried to jimmy open my mailbox. Office staff was always at lunch. didn't even dare use the gym. security guard was always to busy asking me what I was doing and if I had any busniuss on the property when I got home a 2 A.M than to do anything else. People just park in your assigned parking spot whenever they feel like it. asking for maintience is a complete agrivation to the office staff. office staff as a whole lacks knowledge about anything espesialy the property that they manage. cockroaches in apartment, Was told that was my problem I must have brought them with me. Later found out some people who lived in my building a couple of years before I did in fested at least 2 buildings in the complex, they were evicted and managment had to replace everything in the apartment twice (Carpeting, and Appliances). I also found out that managment knows of the problems that come from next door and have done nothing about it for years. This is the most pis poor place in las vegas take a nickels worth of free advice read what a lot of other people said about this place and Stay away. The managment company of Oasis Meadows "Camden" dosen't care about it's residents It wants to collect a rediculious amount of rent and wants the residents to shut up and bend over. totally agree! glad we're not the only ones who saw these problems! the rent keeps going up as the area goes down, the mailboxes have been broken into before, the pool started going downhill right before we moved. im sorry you had to deal witht his place. before carol, this place was amazing to live at!
