I moved to Oasis Palms 9 months ago. The Camden method has changed. When I moved I chose to sign a 9 month lease at no additional charge. I was able to pick my lease length. Now, they charge according to how long your lease is. They basically try to get you to sign a 15 month lease. When I got my lease renewal I realized that I was paying MORE than the going rate. They said they charge more for some apartments because of its location. There is NOTHING special about my location.
The maintenance is really lazy. It took 5 days and a overflown toilet for my problem to get fixed. The office is ALWAYS closed. Its really difficult to speak with the manager, but when you do they are generally nice.
The apartment complex is very clean, I dont know anyone who has ever had their car or house broken into. This is VERY rare for any Las Vegas area.
The layout is awesome. The 1 bedroom apartment is a great size. I love the bathtub.
I orginally signed my lease at 685, they raised it to 735 with a 15 month lease. If I wanted a shorter one it would have been around 750 for a 12 month.

Yeah, they ripped us off financially too. That's all they are interested in. Rent a house, they are not that much more $$ and you get so much more. Owners are concerned with their investment so they fix things asap.
