I moved to Oasis Place after living in the dorms my freshman year of college. I HATED the dorms, and needed to get out. Oasis Place was about all I could afford with a washer and dryer in unit, so I decided on them. Though the neighborhood is a little intimidating, there's really nothing to be afraid of; I never had any problems, and on site security was already patrolling, so that made me feel pretty safe as well. For a studio apartment, I felt that it had PLENTY of room (especially the tub!!). Due to the fact that every unit is a studio, huge families didn't live there, hence no screaming kids at all hours of the night and day; it was extremely quiet, which was probably my favorite aspect of living there. I lived in the 500 Sierra Vista complex, and, as already stated in a previous review, I tend to think that ones the best (the pool at that one is nicer too). I never had a maintanance problem, but, from what I've heard, if I had, they'd have been right on top of it. It's close to so much, so if you don't have a vehicle, everything is in walking distance. The only problem I had was the manager; she wasn't horrible or anything, but she did seem a bit rude at times, and I usually didn't want to deal with her. However, the rest of the staff is nice, and I would recommend this place to ANYONE! I'd move back there if I could :)
