I had several insidences regarding problems with management. First off I had a summer vehicle that was parked in my reserved parking space. I was told this was ok by Connie at the office several times. But she neglected to tell Terry the apartment manager. So without notice I was told my vehicle would be towed in 3 days. This is all well and good except there are half a dozen vehicles that are not even running on the lot and are not in assigned spaces. So a good amount of guest parking is taken up by vehicles that do not move. One of the vehicles even has a car cover over it and has been sitting for 10 months now.
Anyways I have a huge problem with the accuracy of the staff also, they frequently make mistakes with numbers and rent figures. Several times (at least 3 months I can think of) I was told rent was $200 higher than what I actually owed them.
Not the worst part is I had an agreement to move out of my apartment on a certain date. Was told that I would NOT be breaking my lease. 3 months after I moved out I get a notice in my mailbox saying I owe them $1200 for an early cancellation fee. When I called to talk to the complex about this I was told by Melissa, "we'll you should have gotten it on paper".
So this is the main reason for writing this review. I moved out because of the way managment was running things, and because the area safety is decreasing rapidly.
I will continue to fight over this remaining balance with them and file a BBB claim.
In short. Don't move here, or any Camden property. You can find a lot better for a lot less. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
