I have lived here for 6.5 yrs now and won't be renewing my lease. There
are drug users on-site and people trying to break into your apt. or steal
your car. The noise is significant, at times, due to those who play rap
so loud your windows rattle. The on-site dumpsters sometimes overflow due
to others here and off-site who apparently like to trash. There is only one pool
now as the back one was filled in for a BBQ area. The apts. are overpriced
and the community is unsafe. Maintenance is inadequate as I am now waiting
over 1 month to have a simple work order completed. My washer doesn't work
properly and the dryer takes 2 - 90 minute cycles to dry my clothes. Our
incoming mail boxes were broken into in June and our mail was stolen. Even
though I have lived here for years, my parking space is located across from
another building. Many tenants come in, stay for the one month of free rent
and then quickly leave or are evicted.

I don't know why they have a bbq area since everyone has a bbq under there stairs and they sometimes don't make sure there out before they store them. Managment is a joke. They dont care about the residents as long as they get there money. If you have a problem, the black girl in front will never report it and the other one in the back, I thnk her names rebeca, will ignore it untl it you report it to ovation property. then she gets off her ass and does something but not more then she has to. If your one of her favorite tenants you might get better treatment as rebeca loves to sit and talk on her cell and email and shoot the breeze. if your looking for a place to live in vegas you shuld keep looking. if you see sahara gardens just a block away next to the food 4 less, that place is better then living here. forget the free rent here since you can find it ANYWHERE in vegas now. I wouldnt reccomment this place to ex-cons. This place has gotten so bad since January 2009 that the ghetto rats are starting to look for sumwhere safer to go.

Please know that I take pride in where I work and what I do. I like all of my residents equally and I feel as though when I am told of something that I get it taken care of pretty quickly. Like I have said in my previous response, if there is an issue Id be more then willing to help resolve it in a reasonable manner. As for shooting the breeze I will do that with any resident that comes in that wants to talk in my opinion this is called resident retention. I believe that we are trying to get this community back on track as to where it was almost a 1yr ago. Miracles don??t happen over night but with patience and understanding you??ll start to see a change.
