After looking at several apartment complexes, we checked out Parkside Villas and were told that they had an apartment available on Feb. 15. My roommate and I decided it would be a good fit, so we filled out 2 applications and put a $100 deposit down that we were told would not be deposited until we moved in. A few days later we got a call that our credit checked out and everything was set for our move-in date of Feb 15. We even got a signed breakdown of the total due and terms. A couple weeks later, they deposited our money and called to let us know that our apartment was not available anymore. They offered us a different apartment (available in March) that was $50 more per month. I have phone messages that state different move-in dates for this apartment. I have tried to come into contact with their management at Bayharbor Management in California, but they have refused to return my calls. I have since been advised to hire an attorney and contact the Better Business Bureau. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!!!!

Parkside Villas sincerly appologizes for the confusion for the apartment. Unfortunately the prior resident did not vacate the premises on the scheduled vacate date. The only apartment available was an apartment with a premium location. The call to the client was returned by the FPI Management (managing agent). All money paid was refunded to the applicants. This matter was resolved prior to any legal action or complaint with the Better Business Buearu
