I'm gonna break it down for you, I still live here, my lease ends in November and I honestly cannot wait to leave. Now, let's talk about this place. First off the pricing is WAY too high, you can go just around the corner and get a place at least 100-200 dollars cheaper easily. Next, I've had a problem with my dryer since day 1 of living here when I move in March of 09, till THIS very day my dryer is still acting up, they have swapped out a dryer once already, I came home from a vacation and my dryer was broke for some strange reason and they said "oh it might take about a week to fix it because the maintainence staff is on vacation" now it still pounds nice n loudly everytime I turn it on but Im so sick of complaining and not getting results that Im just going to let it pound till I move out and let the next person deal with it. The grounds are well kept which is probably the best thing here. Other good things..umm I had a lot of roaches when I first moved in but since they sprayed I've only seen a few every now and then dead layin somewhere, the rooms are pretty spacious although theres only a fan in 1 room, so if you're sleepin in the other and its summertime then good luck staying cool because the AC doesnt blow well at all into the 2nd room. Okay well that's all I can think of that's good about this place, now let's get back to the stuff that they wont want you to know and people should know before deciding to move here....lets start with the gate, haha oh boy..first off they only work 30% of the time, most of the time one of them or both are broke n open all night long, the gates have sensors so people will tailgate you in ALL THE TIME!!! I cant tell you how many times Ive gotten home from work at 4am and theres 2-3 cars waiting at the gate for someone to get there who actually lives there so they can get in, and you can wait for the gate to close behind you because the sensors are there n the gate wont shut until you are so far away, plus when you open one gate, the other opens too. Now to the next annoying thing, first off it' a great area to live in as far as the city is concerned BUT tell me how my neighbors car gets stolen at night parked in the covered parking lit area right next to mine when we are a gated community with security that walks around'' I asked my neighbor where his car was cause I havent seen it lately and he replied " it got jacked, you didnt hear the alarm go off, I did but then when I looked the car was already gone" some security guard eh' I've personally witnessed the security guards from my back porch and they walk around the complex text messaging and sitting around, I got my mail the other night n saw the security guy just sittin there at the building by the office doing nothing. And last week I got home from work and there's 3 cars waiting to get in right' the security guard is in his car right next to the other cars reading a damn magazine. REALLY''' they SAY it's the security guards job to tell people to leave who wait...So my advice to you is do NOT move here, spend your money elsewhere where there's ACTUAL security and gates that wont let people tailgate you in, the place im moving to avoids tailgating and basically if you cant make it in the gate in enough time then you might need to get new doors because that gate is closing regardless if you're there or not. PLUS the management will NOT get your requests done until about the 3rd time asking. The maintainence staff are great people though, Manny and Bruce are great, respectful and knowledgable, anyways basically to end this off I do NOT feel safe nor is it worth the money. When you think gated community with security you normally think SAFE right' Well not here
