This place is a pit! Since the day I moved in I feel that I have been lied to and deceived. I was told on-site maintenance was provided and was not told that would change! I've had to spend my own money to make repairs to the apartment! I initially wrote my rent check to "Pinehurst" then that suddenly changed and I was told to make my checks out to "RMI" and then I got another letter that said "Greystar" was the new management firm and I should make my checks out to "Pinehurst" again. I went to the office to clear up the confustion and was told that the letter from "Greystar" was given to me by mistake and I should continue to send checks to "RMI". Then I received a phone call a couple months later from the owner of the property who informed me he would no longer be using "RMI" as the managment company and I should send checks to him directly. Thinking this was a bit strange, I called "RMI" and they informed me they knew nothing about this and would have to call the owner themselves and get back to me. "RMI" called me back to verify that the owner had decided not to use them as his management company anymore and I should send rent checks directly to him. They said they would send me a letter with his contact information. I did not receive the letter from "RMI" until a week after my rent check was due! Luckily I had the owner's contact information and was able to contact him and get the correct information. I was not allowed to see my apartment until after I signed the lease which was a bit odd since I've always been able to view the apartment prior to signing the lease and moving in. But it was late in the day and I was tired and had a long trip and just wanted to get settled. From the moment I stepped into the apartment I knew I made a mistake. I was greeted with loud obnoxious music, screaming, and yelling from my neighbor next door to me. I've also had noise issues with the person who lives below me and behind me. I've had to call the police in the past due to the noise. I feel very unsafe in my apartment. I've seen drug deals in the parking lot. The security gate worked the first day I moved in but hasn't worked since. There are young teenagers running around unsupervised being loud and disruptive. The young kids run around unsupervised and litter the groud with food and trash. I have a dog who I keep on a leash and clean up after. Most of the people in the apartment complex do not abide by the leash and clean up rule and let their dogs run wild and poop everywhere without cleaning it up! It's very frustrating to a responsible dog owner such as myself. There is nothing worse than stepping out of your apartment and walking right into a pile of dog poop because your neighbor was too lazy to clean up after their dog! I have been very disappointed since the day I moved in! If I didn't have to pay an astronomical amount of money to end my lease early, I'd move out tomorrow! I can't wait until my lease is up and I can move out of this dump!!!!
