The main reason I moved here was because of policy changes with Oasis Place, but also to be closer to work. I can walk to work in eight minutes of less if traffic is good on Decatur.

The apartments are decent enough, although nothing spectacular. My balcony faces toward the airport and Henderson, and it's nice to see several different fireworks displays every July 4th. It also faces in the right direction for satellite TV, which I have, although you have to follow a lot of regulations to get it. For me, the move was well worth it to get DirecTV alone.

There is only one dumpster for the entire facility, which has been known to go beyond capacity, especially on holiday weekends. Incidents have at least been decreasing in frequency. There is also a fire exit at the back which remains chained shut, that they really ought to consider opening. The only entrance is at Decatur at Nevso, and there is no traffic light, so the left turn necessary to get to Flamingo is anything but fun. If they were to open the other entrance, access to Flamingo would be a breeze. Drivers approaching from west Flamingo would also be able to avoid the intersection of Flamingo and Decatur, which has been described as an accident waiting to happen; usually not for too long.

The staff are professional and above average, although I hardly ever see them, since my rent is charged directly to my Visa card. The only bugs I have experienced are crickets, unless you count the pests who stick menus on the door. They can do a far better job enforcing the no solicitation policy.

All things considered, although the rent is a bit high, it's a reasonable place to live, and I plan to stay here for a while. I have not experienced any real problems here.
