I moved in over a year ago. MAXX PROPERTIES had just taken over ownership of the POLO CLUB and the place was really nice. NOT ANY MORE! They have let this place fall apart and have dropped rents so low it is quickly becoming a "SECTION 8" complex. MAXX PROPERTIES has wiped out a great maintenance staff and the two maintenance guys they have left are busting their asses to try to keep up; but it is impossible. THE PLACE IS FALLING APART! There is no security at all. The massive ghetto on all sides of the complex have the local gang members coming over the walls all hours of the day and night. They rob cars and break into apartments with no fear. The cops and the staff don't do a damn thing about it! ! ! If your a single women or if you have little kids you can count on getting robbed or worse. An let me tell you how they take care of their long term tenants. My rent is about $1000.00 a month with water bill. The new tenants moving in the 100 plus empty apartments are getting the same 2 bedroom I live in for $699.00 a month to fill up all the empty units. But when two friends of mine that have lived at the POLO CLUB for '7' and '10' years; went to renew their leases they charged them the full $990.00 a month! ! ! That shows you how they make up the loss in rent. Over charging loyal tenants to pay for the 'SECTION 8' thats moving in on a daily basis! ! ! When I posted a letter letting the long term tenants know whats going on the MANAGEMENT STAFF has started harassing me with lease violations they don't enforce on any other tenant! An the MANAGER called me a "JERK" to my face for looking out for my neighbors! ! ! I was raised to look out for the people that can't help themselves. The MANAGER at the POLO CLUB was raised to take advantage of those same people! ! !If you like living in the GHETTO please move in. Don't say you were not warned if you get robbed or raped! Because if a gang member doesn't get you; MAXX PROPERTIES & THE POLO CLUB WILL! ! ! ! ! ! !
