Portola is a great place since the new management took over begining 2007

I dont know about then, but now Portola has obviously has turned around, the staff is friendly and nice. Maintance is on top on things, the grounds are looking better then ever. It is I think- pretty nice -its quiet at night to. I enjoy living here.

It depends on which building you are in too.. SOME of the staff is friendly, pretty much only the cute white girl (I forget her name) is nice. It has gotten a little bit better only in the past month. I think the reason for this is a lot of the bad seeds moved out that caused a lot of the trash and noise. It is not quiet everywhere and it is especially bad towards the front of the complex with all the kids running around crazy.
