I've only lived here a month now. Here is my review.
As another reviewer stated this place is under new management. I applied for an apartment during my relocation planning. Not long after applying is when they changed management. The new company was more than helpful to straighten everything out and made sure I had an apartment to move into. Dawn was especially helpful.
Other than a couple noisy neighbors, I have had no issues with living here. Despite those few noisy neighbors, most around here are peaceful. I haven't seen or experienced any crime. My mailbox lock stopped working for some unknown reason. I reported it on a Saturday and it was fixed by Tuesday. That is pretty quick service to me.
The apartments are slowly being remodeled. The renovated apartments (one I was lucky to get) have new carpeted floors & new refrigerators.
All apartments also have:
central air/heat,
your own water heater,
built in shelves in the livingroom,
cable ready in both livingroom and bedroom,
walk in closet,
dishwasher,
ceiling fans (bedroom & livingroom),
patio or balcony depending on 1st or 2nd floor apartment.
Everything is electric, no gas bill to worry about (not sure if that's common in NV, I'm from MN).
The community offers:
exercise gym,
pools,
a swing set for kids (there might be other stuff but that's what I have seen so far)
They are located right on a major street with a bus line (210). You also have a chance to have a nice view. Myself I have a nice view of the Strip and also can see the mountains.
The new policy is to not have pets. There are residents that have pets in the complex. Not sure what will happen when their lease is up.
If you would add to the quietness of this community, we'd love to have you. That's my opinion anyway. Personally I have no regrets moving here.

Its very obvious this post was made by the Management at the Scummy Pyramid Luxury Apartments.
These Pictures do not represent the property correctly & you can even see the management's Car in the Covered parking picture. OOOPS! DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR STAY AWAY! Unless you want your things stolen, loud neighbors, poor deceptive management & overall a huge headache.
You have been Warned.

Actually no it is not from the management. That picture with the golf cart in it was one they sent me when I was in Minnesota. Dawn sent me about 6 pictures that she had taken since I was unable to go and view the available apartment in person. I agree some neighbors are noisy as I stated in my review. In fact below me where I live is one such neighbor. Due to that it has me second guessing if I will stay here for another year. That and I want move to be closer to work (save on gas money).
One question: Why would I put pictures up with my stuff showing? I only wish this site would have put them up in their original size. Then you could see more details like pictures of me and my boyfriend on the counter or my MN Twins bear above the stereo on the shelf. Maybe if my apt was messier you would realize I am not management. Myself I would think they would have used pictures of their model apt that they have. Or perhaps a professionally decorated apt, not a bare bones one as I show in mine. Those pictures I took about 2 weeks after moving in. I had no furniture or anything. Those stools I had just purchased. That???s all I had. Obviously it was a mistake to use the picture they sent to me. Even if I hadn't you still would have your conspiracy theories going. Do tell, what in my pictures is inaccurate? The view? The tree view mountain shot is through my bedroom window at an angle. The strip view is from my balcony. The carpeted living room? As I had stated, mine is newly renovated. It is what all future apartments at Pyramid will look like.
In my time here I have only witnessed one incident of emergency vehicles on the property. And that was a fire truck (though I saw no smoke or anything). If it is so crime ridden don't you think police would be coming all the time? Maybe where your building is, it is horrible. But not where I am. I live towards the front of the property. Regardless of what I say I know you won't believe me. So I will leave it at that.
Anyone considering moving here or any property I suggest one thing. View the place in evening (especially Fridays). This will give you an accurate view of how noisy the place can be. I myself didn???t do that, but not by choice as I had stated before. Where ever I move next I certainly will follow my own advice. No place is perfect. Just analyze what you can live with and look for that.
Annonymous I hope you have better luck finding an apartment complex that you enjoy.

i have been living in pyramid apts since march of 07 and i hate it here... in august i had a leak it took managment 6 days and a notarized letter to come out and look at it.. they said that the leak was fix and there was no sign of mold in my apt well low and be hold in december i found tons of mold in my apartment and the leak wasnt fix they want me to pay to break my lease when in fact they arent holding up there end and fixing the problem managment is horrible here they dont make your issues priority but they expect you pay your rent and wait on them. not to mention that there is tons of noise here the work out room equipment doesnt work the managment is decieving you new comers that this is a luxury apt complex when in fact the roofs are full of leaks and they take their sweet time to fix anything here like dryers front doors that dont lock and leaks.. they sugar coat things so you think stuff is getting done but them you come home to find your entry way and bathroom flooded. dont move here you will regret it big time

My lease is up very soon and I cant wait! There's a big problem with noise here, tenants walking around property smoking pot, dog poop everywhere including the sidewalks, trash left on the lawn, tenants with pit-bulls, etc. Management doesn't seem to care about these issues and if they do care, it doesn't show because the problems are still outstanding. I've complained many, many times to no avail.
