I moved into Rancho Del Sol in Sept of 07. When I first moved in I thought I lost my key to the apartment, I told the office about it they charged me 10 dollars for another key, I later found the key and returned the one the office gave me. They told me I would a 10 dollar credit off of my rent. When I went to pay the rent they refused to give me the 10 dollar credit they had no knowledge of it. It's not the 10 dollars it's the princible of it. I was told they didn't remember any thing about this. Then in Oct of the same year the building that I lived flooded a water pipe broke in the wall in the middle of the night and my whole apartment was flooded. What a big inconvenience that was. Went down to the office and ask them for some money off the rent or something for the inconvenience they refused to do anything for us. There is also trash all over the grounds. The office staff is anything but nice they are not accommodating. My hot water heater went out it took them a month to replace it, Also when you move in they show you a model not the apartment you will be living in. When I moved in the aprtment was not clean and it had roaches. The refrigerator had roaches in it, then the refrigerator went out I'm glad it did because they brought me a new one and that's when I got rid of the roaches. Also when my year lease was up They raised my rent 95.00 dollars a month. I have stayed way to long I should have moved out after the first year. My lease is up at the end of Sept 09. I will be giving notice and getting out of here. I have been looking and at other apartments with washers and dryers for less then what I am paying here. The rents are going down because of the economy. anyway my point is look around there are better places to live.

I couldn't agree more. They are completely. Without scruples. They know people are struggling and yet are unwilling to negotiate lower rents eventhough they are offering. MUCH lower. Rent to new tenants. They want you to pay double your current rent to get out of your lease, they try to make you pay for their incompetence, they are bordering on slum. My toilet was broken for 6 weeks before they finally repaired it. WHO DOES THAT?!!!? I'VE HAD IT! I'M OUT! I have found a 2 bedrm for $15 less than what I'm paying for a 1 bedroom. And the appliances are brandnew and it has a full size washer and dryer. I AGREE WITH YOU 100%! To those who happen upon this apartment complex...BEWARE!

This sounds just like The Hamptons at Nellis and Vegas Valley. They pulled that "bait and switch" on us; showed us a lovely model, then stuck us in the ghetto in back, with trash everywhere, loud and obnoxious neighbors doing drugs and all kids of things at all hours! They did let us out of our lease so we could move, but we had to call the police to stop the crazy woman below us from harassing us as we loaded the Uhaul truck! We had reported her repeatedly, but office did nothing.
