I'm not gonna lie. It's pretty bad.

I can't really say anything that hasn't been said before: There are break-ins; all the gangbangers blare their music and sell drugs in the middle of the street and it's so blatantly obvious; parents let their little kids hang out in the street on the other side of a blind corner and children almost get hit when cars speed around it; for a while, there was pretty much a monthly shooting like it was a tradition; stuff gets fixed EVENTUALLY; guards are around when they feel like it; the pool hasn't been open in three years; there's a really good indie pizza place up the street (that uses real cheese, which is awesome, not that processed crap) but the big chains don't deliver because their drivers get robbed; the gates are always broken and open (on a related note, the spikes from the front to make sure cars don't come in the wrong way kept getting broken until now none are left - that lasted for a few months); police are always there except to get people for breaking the 10pm curfew which no one obeys; people will have a party right in front of your apartment and leave all their trash for you to get blamed for; the place is littered with plastic pieces used to smoke joints, shopping carts and I even found a freaking bear trap once; when the sprinklers came on, they get everything but the grass, making water run into the street and the brown/red dirt turn into mud and spread all over the sidewalk; now all the grass is replaced with ugly pebbles.

There haven't been any killings this year that I know of SO FAR. I don't think just because people live on section 8 in here doesn't mean we can't have nice things without getting jacked. The real problem are the houses with 2 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms and they have over 6 people in the house, coming in and out all the time. Is it how hard to follow the rules and just keep 2 or 3 people in your house like you say you're going to'

If you have no family and you avoid everyone in the complex, I guess it's an okay place to live, but who wants to live like that' If I could go back, I probably would have moved around around 2004 to 2005. I've lived in several apartments throughout my life and this feels the least like home. It feels like it's just the place I keep my stuff. There's a whole lot better but I guess it can be worse.
