An apartment is NOT a hotel room. You won't be getting waited on hand and foot, and you certainly do not need the "front desk clerks" sucking up to you in order to make you want to live here. The people in the office shouldn't be sucking up to us, WE should be sucking up to THEM. It's not like a hotel where they think if they suck up enough then we will return. Rather, it's more like we are looking for a place to live, but we have to prove ourselves to the staff that we will be a good resident. We have lived here for almost a year now, and yes, the staff in the office is not the friendliest. German has almost no personality, and the old lady is your typical old bitter lady. Who cares' As long as you pay your bills and live like a normal human being, you should never even have to see the people in the office. I'd be more worried about the quality of the apartment I'm living in. This brings me to the maintenance staff. AMAZING!! They may not look like a real classy bunch, but they are extremely hardworking AND friendly. We spotted a few iffy spots in our new apartment when we moved in, and within 24 hours EVERYTHING was fixed, with a smile. Incredible. The pool is nice, the hot tub is nice, there is a free tanning bed, free internet, washer and dryer IN each unit, a patio, etc. The area is very nice and they do a good job at keeping the place nicely landscaped.

Basically, it seems like the only thing that the people had to complain about was the management. Which probably means that they, as a resident, did something wrong and had to pay for it...leaving them with a grudge against the management. Grow up!

WRONG! Paying your bills on time etc. does not keep management happy. They are constantly harassing their own residents, having nothing to do with money. This is the dirtiest, most disgusting place I have ever lived. And the other poster is right, the office staff are LIARS and THEIVES!

I was amazed after reading the response from Let's be serious. I agree that an apartment is not a hotel room, however your rent is what pays the salery for the office staff. I certainly won't speak for anyone else but I tend to get very offended when I'm paying someone to be rude to me. It's not a matter of "sucking up" it's a matter of customer service. Seeing a friendly face and being spoken to in a respectful manner is not too much for any resident to expect.
