The good; the location was close to freeways, restaurants, GV The District and the Galleria. The apartment we had was roomy at first but we quickly ran out of space. We never had any major issues with management and didn't frequent the pool or work out room more than 10 times our entire 30 month stay.
The bad; the floors squeaked in our apartments and we were constantly harassed by our downstairs neighbor to the point where management sent us letter stating that we should remain quite during the hours of 9 pm- 9 am. We were also told not to run our ceiling fan in the master bedroom as the vibration would cause our neighbor sever pain, well when it's 110 outside forgive me for using one luxury that actually made me want to rent this apartment. We we're stopped several times and asked to get ready in the other bathroom and if we could not be in our bedroom in the morning. I didn't know what to do, was I supposed to get ready for work in the living room. We were also told not to run our water - dishwasher, washer or dryer during those quite hours. It got to the point of where I was 6 months pregnant and would try so hard not to use the bathroom in the middle of the night because I was afraid of another warning notice. That is when I knew that we had to leave. I wasn't about the have a baby be the cause of our eviction or try to calm a baby and risk the noise violations again. We never had any friends over or throw a party, we were probably one of the most boring neighbors those old retired people could have had and it still wasn't good enough. My car had been broken into twice, my fianc 's tires where flatten and people would race through the parking lot. It eventually came to a point where we would leave for a whole day because we did not want to be in our own home.
