Rancho Viejo Apartments

Dump! - Real Dump! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/11/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   Rancho Viejo is advertised as a luxury condo community. These paper-thin apartments are hardly condos and the luxury is missing too. This complex is full of low-life types. Broken down cars, shopping carts and beer bottles litter the grounds. Police are here almost nightly, in fact they had to set up a sub-station here to control the crime problem. Noise is a serious problem with all-night parties (in apartments and at the pool) a regular thing. Drug dealers rule the place, so there are a lot of very shady folks coming in and out. Security is a joke...may as well tear down the gates, they are always broken or open. The people who lived below me were finally evicted after not paying rent for two months...oh yeah and after stabing each other half to death. Of course that big meth lab didnýt help their case either! The $99 move in really attracts the trash. The place is so bad that the management staff all live somewhere else! The apartment below mine had 4 different tenants in a 12 month period. The first was evicted for non-payment of rent, the second was taken away in handcuffs before my eyes, the third moved away after her ex-husband found out where she lived and she told me that she was afraid for her life. The last one, who knows because I moved out right after they moved in. Office staff is a waste, except for Chris the manager, who left for Arizona shortly after I moved out. The leasing agent and assistant manager that were there when I moved in were both fired for failing their drug tests at work. I guess that might explain why nother ever got done. Location is not so hot either. This part of the west side is not very nice. Sure shopping is close by, but the area (Flamingo & Buffalo) is filthy with trash and shopping carts thrown all over the sidewalks and storm washes. Buffalo is a traffic nightmare and is sure to get worse when the county opens a huge high school right down the street at Twain and Buffalo. All of this does nothing for the value of the place either. My overall opinion of the place is that the apartments and the residents are trash and the management is worthless. By the way, I always paid my rent on time, did you PIG' You sound like a cop, opening your big pie hole before you know what the hell you're talking about. If you really were a cop you were sure as hell a lousy one if you couldn't see what in the hell was going on here. Must be from some -------- back east if you think this place is nice. The places are for sale now, why don't you buy one PIG'
