down hill all the way

I lived at this complex for 1 1/2 years...first 9 months were fine, then I came back from a weeks vacation to find my car being towed...management had assigned 2 apartments to the same space...their reply "computer mistake" took 4 calls and 3 weeks to get a response about a broken microwave and another 4 weeks to have it replaced. I was told the dishwasher wasn't working well because the management was to cheap to flush out the lines (this was after another month of calls). I was told if there were bugs in my apartment I had to pay to have someone come out and spray (even though this is in the lease agreement) After signing my new lease in Oct, I found out in Nov I was being transferred. They wouldn't budge on the lease, I had to pay a $1200 cancellation fee. I paid this on Dec 1st along with Rent for Dec, Jan, 3 days in Feb. When I moved out I had an inspectionand was told that I would receive a full refund....a few days later I received an invoice in the mail...they had deducted $50 from my refund for late payment of rent. This took multiple phone calls and emails... the reason was "computer glitch" before I received a check for $50. When they were renovating the office, they moved the office to a vacant apartment, this meant that the gate was open all day (no longer a gated community) it was during this time that the mailboxes were broken into. They are expensive, the use cheap materials in their buildings, and you will have to call or stop by multiple times to get an satisfaction. Plus you don't know if they have been in your apartment. I asked that they leave a note (they do have a form and per the lease are supposed to leave it on the counter anytime they enter your apartment). they left one a couple of times and then never again.
