I moved into the complex about a year ago and loved the place. The management was friendly and always willing to help. About 4 months later new management took over and it has gone down hill since then. Soon the started renovating the place, digging up the grounds and loud banging on the roof early in the mornings. The gym and leasing office were both closed. The leasing office was moved to an open apartment, which led them to leaving the gate open all day(way to advertise for a gated community)during the time our mail boxes were broken into twice. My boyfriend and I both used to use the gym everyday and were excited about the new gym. To our disappointment the new gym was the same crappy machines only now none of them working. Theire remodeling was flat screen tvs and curtains. Dont know how that helps you work out. Also during the summer there were guys hanging around in the pool and hot tub area who did not even live there. I would go to the hot tub to relax instead get harassed by these guys who dont even live there. When I asked how they got in, they said easy put their arm over the fence and opened the gate. Right now theyre tearing down the fences around the complex so again our apartment is not gated in and I see people walking in and out of the open fence all the time. Not the safest place to live, never went back to the hot tub after that. The management staff are the rudest people. If you have an issue or a problem they pretty much tell you too bad. I recently recieved a note on my car saying I was in someones spot and they would tow my car. when I brought the issue down to manangement she told me if I park there my car would be towed, even though this is the spot they assigned me and I could talk to her manager about it on Monday. She was very rude and unproffesional. Also since they started remodeling they have raised the rent twice. In november we received a notice saying they were installing a washer and dryer and to clean our storage area. Our stuff sat out on our patio for two months before we realized they werent coming anytime soon. When I asked the management about it they were rude and told me to wait my turn because they were doing other apartments also. Its almost May, we still dont have a washer and dryer. We've never been late on our rent and when we asked about the rent raise they said because of the remodeling. None of which we see or benefit from. They are remodeling the vacant apartments not the ones we already live in. So theyre charging us more for nothing. This place is a joke and Ive never seen such unprofessionalism.
