Think about it for a minute...... What exactly would you like management a Renn. or any other property to do for security' Electrified razor wire and attack dogs' or how bout armed guards at the front and back of every building checking for your barcode tatooed to your arm. Or what about thousands of 10,000 watt bulb security lighting above every window with lazor guided machine guns ready to blow away anyone that walks by. Be realistic people, as it is all properties spend thousands of dollars each - every month for what there getting now which aint much! To provide the security that you are all crying for would cost hundreds of thousands a month. Don't believe me' call a couple of security companies here in vegas and ask what they charge for those services at an apartment complex. And where do you think the cost for such security will fall.... you guessed it, how bout another $135 more a month to your rent. A better cure for the crime at apartments in Las Vegas would be closing the borders to Los Angeles.

lol hahah i totally agree.
2 --------- beat the ---- out of my friends car at her appartment complex down the street from here. They caused $10,000 of damage on her brand new 2007 corolla. I honestly feel pretty safe here and as a matter of fact, she may be moving to R. villas soon. Thumbs up to a good post.

I don't know about all that I mean I used to live there and well I found a nicer and safer apartment for alot less then I was paying there...I believe the only security here is, is a gate with a code... one entrance... and an armed guard at the front and one walking the property(during the night) and I believe they are employed by the complex so I would think that helps keep costs down... oh and nothing has broken or gone wrong with my place so yeah R. villas may be better then living on 10th street, but I just warn people look around you may be surprised at what you can find if you don't go to a major apartment management company.

Good points made here. Management just sent us notices today that there has been increased vandalism, graffiti, setting fires, and car vandalism. So now our rents are going up because of this.
In the past 4 months my car has been vandalised twice resulting in excess of $3,000. This is absolutely unacceptable and may be looking for a new place soon.
Do however like my appartment, the staff, the facilites, and the location. Theres always some bad that comes with the good. But $3000 on top of rent is a whole lot of bad.
