I lived here during the spring of 2005. We left after 3 months buying out our contract for $1000. Here are the pros and cons

Pros:
- close to downtown and the strip
- close to shopping
- management was friendly enough
- maintancence was ok, only used them once but they came out

Cons:
- gated complex' one gate is permanently closed and one permanently open
- I had a begger ask for change on a weekly basis as I walked to my car... what apt did he live in'
- was supposed to have an assigned parking spot but the carport roof crashed down.
- lots of kids that run around, not that big of a deal
- had a neighbor bang on my door for no reason and threaten to kick the sh-t out of me if I didn't stop it... he never specified what 'it' was. He later appologized saying sometimes he does things he can't control... hehe... just great!
- apt interiors are so-so, nothing new but nothing broken
- I always worried about my car and had to call security once when I saw a guy with a hanger next a car close to mine
- never had a problem but wouldn't let my wife walk around the complex at night
- never felt safe, always seeing shady types hanging out

Thats about it. I know of many worse apt complexes than here so for me, its average for being so close to the strip, but quite below average when compared to places 30 min from the strip. I could have tolerated it for my full 1 year lease I think but had to ask myself... is it really worth it' I don't like living on the edge and felt the risk was more costly than buying out my lease.
