My name is C. Lawrence and I wouldn't recommend a dog living here. That is how crappy it is. Whenever you leave your apartment, you feel as though you are going to be assaulted by MS-13 gang members. The landscaping (if you want to call it that) is ugly and brown, the apartments are generally run down, there are roaches, and other bugs, the laundry rooms are filthy and disgusting, the washers don't work half the time and the dryers don't work the other half the time. Also, all types of threatening people hang out in the laundry rooms, not to mention, they break the glass of the laundry room, nevermind the fact that there are little kids who play outside around here. The "MANAGEMENT" team: Randa and David are crappy and they are LIARS. I was told I would get a washer/dryer when I re-signed my lease. 1st, they told me it would be January, then February, and when I called in February, they told me that management has stopped allowing washers and dryers being put into apartments because of "renovations" to the ground and some units (that in and of itself is LAUGHABLE because this place looks like ----). Then comes mid-march and my NEW neighbors get a washer/dryer. The one I had been promised. I called management and bitched them out, David was a condesending ------- and Randa wouldn't even come to the phone. Guess she was too busy doing what she does best: NOTHING! Whatever you do:DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS HORRENDOUS APARTMENT COMPLEX. THE MANAGEMENT IS INCOMPETENT, THE APARTMENTS ARE DANGEROUS AND OLD, IT'S BUG INFESTED AND UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE IN LITTLE TIJUANA, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS, I WOULD. RANDA AND DAVID SHOULD BE FIRED.

Your rating is sooooo true ! I have lived here for almost 4 years and have whitnessed 4 shootings in just over one month. One shooting happened right in front of my face by a mexican male in an old ford. I am sick of this complex and its gangs of teenagers smoking drugs and 14 year old girls and 20 year old guys drinking together late at night causing fights and being loud. These people here in Sahara Gardens are sick !

I HAVE BEEN RESIDING AT SAHARA GARDENS FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF. FOR THE FIRST YEAR, I HAD NO COMPLAINTS, UNTIL MANAGEMENT CHANGED. THE DEMEANOR OF THE STAFF THAT HAS BEEN THERE FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS HAS BEEN HORRENDOUS. IT ALL STARTED IN MAY WHEN MY AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT WORKING, AT THE TIME, I HAD A FOUR MONTH OLD BABY AND IT TOOK THEM TWO WEEKS TO GET IT FIXED. IN MY SUBSEQUENT DEALINGS WITH THE STAFF I WAS TREATED UNPROFESSIONALLY AND MY CONCERNS WERE NEVER ADDRESSED. I HAVE BEEN A MODEL TENANT AND THERE IS NO REASON FOR THEM NOT TO HELP ME. SINCE MANAGEMENT HAS CHANGED, THERE HAS BEEN AN INCREASED RATE OF CRIME. THERE HAVE BEEN REPEATED INSTANCES OF MARIJUANA SMOKING, DRINKING, THE CONGREGATION OF JUVENILES (APPROXIMATELY 10-15), MY VEHICLE HAS ALSO BEEN VANDALIZED WHILE PARKED IN THIS COMPLEX. THIS REOCCURRING VIOLENCE HAS PUT MY FAMILY AND I IN A STATE OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS. THE REASON FOR ME NOT CALLING AND REPORTING THESE ISSUES IS THE FEAR OF RETALIATION. YOU CAN CALL THE METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT YOURSELF AND READ ON HOW MANY TIMES WITHIN THE PAST SIX MONTHS THEY HAVE RESPONDED TO CALLS REGARDING THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX.
