I rode my bike to apply for an apartment about four months ago.I am a frequent touring bicyclist and I also bike to commute to work. I am a professional who makes decent money. They told me that ??they do not like bikes?? and asked me if I would mind driving a car if I lived here. Huh' Should I even explain and ----- about this' Anyways, the manager agreed with the leasing agent that bikes are frowned upon especially if it is ??my main mode of transportation??. I was thinking, do I look like a meth homeless person because of my 3 freaking thousand dollar bike' They did not even do a credit check to find out that I make more money than the average resident. Whatever. For the record, they look really nice! But if this is the management, user beware, they are on the special side.
