I have lived at San Tropez for 3 1/2 years and am planning to move out of state next month and have been doing research to find a new home where I am moving to. In speaking with the office staff they suggested that I go to this web site and view the ratings of the apartment homes I was interested in leasing. Just out of curiosity, I looked at the reviews that San Tropez had been given. I WAS SHOCKED!! In my time here I have had nothing but pure pleasure and I want everyone that sees those reviews to also see this review.
Yes, the gate has been broken and yes they have instilled a utility charge, but I don't think it is out of poor management that they have done this. At first I could not understand why the gate had been broken so often until I witnessed myself a pizza delivery driver squeeze in behind someone and hit the gate because it was too close. I went to report my information to the staff and in speaking with them, this is an epidemic. As for the utility charge, I know that the cost of water in Las Vegas has significantly increased because of the drought we are in. The charge is small and as I do use the water, I don't mind paying it.
As for the grounds, this property does cater to people with animals and there are residents who are rude & don't pick up after their pets. Management has made it very simple. They have dog poop bag stations on every trash dumpster and about 6 months ago they added poles around the grassy areas and put additional bags on those poles. There have been times when the grounds have not been the cleanest, but they hired a new grounds cleaner almost a year ago and the grounds have never looked better, honestly!
I truly believe the people who have problems with management are probably the actual problem. I have seen problems on property and as soon as you see it happen, 9 times out of 10 you usually see a moving truck next. They don't put up with much and do make a big effort to make sure San Tropez remains a nice place to live. They actually just added a security team instead of one person. I have lived in 2 places since I have lived in Las Vegas and hands down this is the best in the city.
