So far it's got some goods and some bads and i've been here for one week. Gym and pool are a big plus, esp on a budget and you're in vegas. manager was very cool and i got the feeling that she thought the building would sell itself. and for the price ($780/month, plus only $499 for the first month, 6 month lease) it's not bad with the location. however, after i signed the lease, there was an attitude change. constant reminding that the rent was due on the 1st. not a big deal, but i hadn't even move in and i was getting the third degree.
the good: gated with dedicated parking spot, 3 pools and gym (both open till 4am), cheap, location, large apartment, so called 'courtesy patrol'. the bad: old building, old carpet, old A/C (probably inefficient as heck), some shady characters in the complex, apartment manager's attitude change after i signed.
i checked three other places and for the price this one was probably the best in the area. if you want newer, summerlin, the lakes, and anywhere west of here will be better.
but overall so far so good. i'll update in 6 months

Dear Aonymous
Get out after your lease is up. They are full of it. I am moving out August 5th after my toilet fill valve broke and I woke up to ankle deep toilet water. It took them 4 days to dry it out and they never cleaned the carpet. I prorated this months rent per nevada statue for only 3 days and they gave me my money order back and have started the eviction process. I am going to fight it but Linda Schlax is one major witch and will not even get on the telephone to discuss things with you. Trust me, there are other affordable places in the Valley and after I get finished with the, local TV station, BBB and court, they are going to rue the day they tried to break the law and take advantage of a good tenant although my stove didn't even work the first 6 months I was here.

I agree. I moved in June 2008. The office is terrible. THey do not make repairs submitted. I live near a pool that has bee closed for the last month. Whenever you have a question for the office, they talk fast and rush you out. The company definitely wants your money, but don't invest it in the property. The appliances are old and they don't try to update them. They try to act busy, however there are rarely residents/future residents in the office. Save your money and move somewhere else.
