present resident, dec1 2008- dec31 2009. management told us roaches come in through the drains. i think more likely through the hole where the washer/dryer is. We had maintenance come in and spray for roaches and they came in and sprayed while we were home and asleep!! i still have no sense of smell from around that time. when we looked at the apartmetns, we were talking with the employee, and didn't notice how squeaky the apartment was. we've had to tip toe around for almost 11 months now. even tip toeing is loud. i feel for the downstairs neighbors. it would be nice to take a shower in peace, but there is an enclosure over the tub, and that squeaks even worse, when you stand in the tub to take a shower. Also, there are several neighbors that blast the stereo suddenly, at all times of the day. downstairs neighbors used to slam their door once in awhile, now they slam it all the time, all of them. we can't open our vehicle passenger door because of the cement stoppers. just removing those would make the apartment way more attractive to live in, as far as being able to park. when i checked to see our move out date, we'd sign a 12 month lease, but they put a conflicting move out date, a month later. and told us we should have checked our move out day. is a conflicting contract even binding' 12 months is 12 months. half a month off rent shouldn't extend your rental agreement. so we're stuck here 13 months moving on new years!!
