Not much bang for the buck

Years at this apartment: 1997 - 2000
I moved out a year ago, after the rent had been raised a whopping 13% in one year. Other considerations were that maintenance had gone downhill drastically and it became obvious that new tenants were not being screened as vigorously as in the past. (Strange colored lights were installed by tenangs on first floor balconies, and it appeared to me that drug transactions were being conducted.)
Silverado Village has had two major fires in the past 11 months, and one incident in which the entire complex was evaculated by Metro when a fake bomb was discovered which had been left "by mistake" by an evicted tenant.
For the rent they?re charging, you should have gated access and better security.
