This complex started out being a nice place. Then after a name change and a new manager everything went downhill. It started about 3 months after moving in. I had a dishwaher that leaked all over the floor causeing the linoleum to buckle under the dishwaher unit. And the door did not close properly. I had to slam the door turn the unit on and hold the door for a good 5 minutes to insure it would not pop open. The oven door did not close tight, causing problems with baking temperatures. Most of the windows were painted shut so I could only open one window and the slider door during the hot months. The apartments are not energy efficient so you freeze during the winter and use the A/C too much in the summer.Maintenance was called about all these issues but nothing was ever repaired or replaced. I had to make several calls to maintenance to get a work order completed. Twice the lock on the door broke so I could not lock the door. On the second call on this issue the maintenance person on-call did not show. So I slept with a door that was not secured. I eventually purchased my own lock and had it put on as no one ever showed up!! On several occassions someone was turning the door knob or knocking on the door saying they were with a company and wanted entry into the apartment. This was at 8:00 p.m.! One such person went so far as to say he was with the F.B.I. When I looked out the peep hole it was a male youth in a hooded sweat shirt, baggy jeans and sports shoes. I did not open my door. I called the police which by the way Metro is there on an on going basis. The lights to the grounds were turned off continuosly. You could not see anything!! My vehicle was vandalized. I reported to Metro and Management. Management could have cared less.A woman in the downstairs unit was attacked at 3:00 a.m. during the one of many "black outs". And then there were the fires. One a year for each year we lived there. The third fire was next door to our unit. Time to leave!! When my spouse walked to the corner store he was accosted by two youths for a six pack of soda! This complex said they had roving security but we never saw it.The neighbors are unfriendly. Some are down right rude. The grounds look like the city dump. The dumpster areas are horrible. There is glass on the lot constantly. Loud music at all hours of the night. The pools were closed all the time. Residents were bringing in washer and dryer units which is a fire code violation as this complex is not set up for washers and dryers. There are no hook-ups in the apartments.Mangement was notified but as usual no results. This place wants your money. To add insult to injury we received a notice that the rent was being raised! We found a much nicer place for a few dollars more on the West side. We have never received our deposit from this complex! And probably never will! Do yourself a favor and move to the West side. We have security, a guard at the gate, roving patrol which we have seen. It was worth moving in the heat and paying a few dollars more to have peace of mind.
