Did I ever get screwed. Let's start from the beginning. They are disorganized at the office. They forgot the appointment I made to see the apartments at first. Then they rushed me through to show it to me. Then they give me the keys the apartment... which didn't work. Then I find out the hadn't changed the locks. When I got in the apartment there were men inside who were still working on it.
Finally, I'm inside. First, I notice the oven does not work. After about 2 minutes it goes out. After 5 tries of getting them to fix it it still doesn't work. I'll explain in a minute why. The AC worked... but it dripped copious amounts of liquid on the capret. Apparently, they didn't bother to hook up a pipe for the drain. The upstairs bathroom leaked (there's a bulge in part of the cieling). The neighbors upstairs sound like a herd of elephants mating. There are kids out in the hallway that make too much noise all day. Oh, and they gave me my parking space 44P- WHICH DOESN'T EXIST (the letters between 44H and 44P are not there)! And your friends the ants and roaches come and stay all the time. The powerbill is erratic. I use very little electricity so my bill should be about 30 dollars (it was at first). It came out the 80 after the 3rd month.
So, the mantainence is great, if you are fluent in Spanish and don't mind waiting for days. The management is great, if you don't have to deal with them. The noise is great, if you are deaf. The contrusction is great, if you are a moron. And by the way besides the 200 deposit you also have to pay another hundred for the so-called preperation fee. Which is just bull. Don't live here.
