The management need to read there own lease agreement, they schedule repairs and won’t let you know when the parties are going to enter. When they tell you they are going to have persons in your apartment they don’t show up, costing me lost wages. I’ve had to take showers else where because they shut off the water to my building for a couple of weeks from sometime in the mourning till after 6 pm at night. I’ve told them I don’t want anyone in my apartment when I am not present unless it is an absolute emergency, but they let an outside contractor in when I was at work (with out notice, or as little as a f@##$#@ phone call) that cost me 77 dollars in thief. I had a door lock changed, that was screwed up from day one and they don’t know what they did with the other key (boy do I feel safe). The management said they have no reasonability for the thief; didn’t they give the contractor the key'
This is in a high crime area, not the worst, full of illegal and quite a few tweakers.
I have been in this apartment for less then six months and am getting ready to take legal action I.A.W. NRS 118A.500 Paragraph 2. “
2. If the landlord makes an unlawful entry or a lawful entry in an unreasonable manner or makes repeated demands for entry otherwise lawful but which have the effect of unreasonably harassing the tenant, the tenant may obtain injunctive relief to prevent the recurrence of the conduct or terminate the rental agreement. In either case the tenant may recover actual damages.”
I highly recommend stay away!!!
